Actor Shivaji Arrested while Escaping to fly out of the country

The actor was reportedly detained by the Hyderabad police. Shivaji was taken into custody at Shamshabad airport a short while ago. It is reported that Shivaji was moved to Cyberabad Crime PS. Full details are yet to be known.

Case against Raviprakash and Shivaji, Alanda media company has filed a lawsuit over the TV9 controversy. Shivaji has been facing investigation for since from the past. Alanda Media filed the case against TV9's CEO Raviprakash and actor Shivaji that the two had signed forgery in connection with TV9 shares.

Shivaji, who has been approached by the High Court, has also issued notices to Ravi Prakash and Shivaji to appear before them. Shivaji, however, has not yet taken part in the police investigation. Shivaji has repeatedly sent messages to the inquiry to this extent. Shivaji has asked the High Court to dismiss the case filed against him by the cyber crime police.

Shivaji had approached the High Court through a quash petition demanding that the cybercrime police file a false case against him. Shivaji asked the petition to provide stay orders for him to avoid pre-arrest by the police.

On the other hand, the government High Court notified that as of now Shivaji has been issued three notices but has not attended a police inquiry. The court, after thoroughly examining the arguments of both parties, adjourned the case to June 26 for further hearing.

Shivaji is in police custody. Shivaji was taken into custody a short while ago. He said he was told to cooperate with the case. Police said Shivaji's next hearing will be based on court notices.
